Hecho en Dallas is the Latino Cultural Center’s annual juried show for professional artists who live and work in the Dallas area. Ahan’s piece, The American Dream, was selected while he was still in high school, and it hung next to works by 66 professional artists working in painting, sculpture, installation, and photography. The American Dream is a piece from Ahan’s issue-based portfolio, and it is a piece representing immigration to America from his parents and their first memories of America.
